All Occasion Baking - My Cake Philosophy

Wedding Cakes All Occasion Baking - My Cake Philosophy Photos of My Work

How I Started; Who I Am

I began decorating cakes at the age of nine.  My first large wedding-type cake was a 25th Anniversary cake that I accomplished at the age of 14.  I have been going strong ever since.

I work as a secretary by day, but my nights and weekends are filled with baking and decorating cakes, pastries, and tasty treats for all kinds of people.

The bulk of my work comes from word-of-mouth referrals, but I do send information to anyone who might request it.

My Cake Philosophy

"Good cakes aren't necessarily cheap; cheap cakes aren't necessarily good."

I only use the freshest of ingredients, and I do not pre-bake and freeze my products.  I bake as close to your event as possible to insure you get the very best product I can provide.

As for my cakes, there are a lot of flavors for the cake and the fillings you can select.  From Toasted Almond, Banana or Carrot to White Chocolate or Fudge Chocolate Chunk, be sure to select what tickles your fancy and you can't go wrong.  How about a filling of Cream Cheese, White Chocolate Mousse or Blackberry?

What Can I Do?

I am very experienced in wedding cakes, birthday cakes, cakes for graduations and groom's cakes.  I have made sculpted and molded cakes that are shaped like a three-dimensional object (see my photos for the airplane groom's cake as one example) and I have molded chocolate paste to look like furniture, paper (diplomas), flowers and other objects.  I can take your ideas about birthdays, baby and bridal showers, retirement parties, graduations and more, and turn them into an edible artform.

Beyond Cake

In addition to cakes, I also make Baklava, amazing cutout cookies, cheesecake, Biscotti ... your imagination is my inspiration.  My cookie trays are very popular during the holidays, and cheesecake is always a winner.  So no matter what you desire, I can probably accommodate your needs.
